Late October, Grandma Kate was giving Mommy some tips on bathing Abraham in the big tub! Mostly Abraham just wants to dive after his duck!

6 Month Portraits!

He was the first "client" to ever use this chair b/c it was new the day we had pictures taken. Hillarious in his diaper!

Abraham's 6th Month -Nov 6-Dec 5, 2009

We had these taken on his 6 month B-day! He is such a happy baby.
I wanted "naked" pictures to show off his cute little body.

More pics from his 6 month b-day! Here he is enjoying the mobile my Mom brought for him. It was ours when my brother and I were babies! You can see the wooden figure riding a crocodile in the top corner of this picture. He loves it! It is a BIG help at changing time, especially now that he can flip over!

It was getting cold, so we got Mr a few new hats-who knew it would send me into a hat fetish? I started looking for hats for Abraham everywhere!

Here he is in his newsboy with our dear Julieanne who watches him 3 days a week while I work out. The days she works I have to bring more milk for him because he drinks more from her than any of the other daycare ladies! The way to a man's heart...Here he is getting up from a nap while our neighbor Savanah was over.

He made a face, then ate them up! He did stick his fingers in his mouth and rub his face a few times, overall, much cleaner than I expected.

4 Months Old!

We took Abraham car shopping to test drive the Mazda 5 and decided this is our car of choice, now we need to decide if and when we will buy one.

Daddy keeps me flexible and I LOVE it!


Meeting Uncle Peter & Aunt Gretchen was wonderful! They came to visit Sept 12-15.

I am lame and mostly took videos of Gretchen and Abraham, most of which are too long to upload. But Abraham loved her, too. Here are a few shots of Gretchen & Peter in Memphis.

This restaurant owner was trying to entice us into his Beale street establishment by offering samples of pork shoulder and beans. Too bad for him, we drove back to & went to Mosa instead!

While they were here, Abraham learned to roll all the way over by himself! We went in to get him up from a nap and there he was on his tummy. Good thing we had started leaving one arm unswaddled. 9-15-09

19 weeks Old
Chillin' in his swing. We don't use it too much because he is in the swing in the nursery most mornings, but he likes it for a little while. I love the star jams, and Abraham really likes watching his feet when he's wearing them.

Now he doesn't just lay inside his snake, he grabs it and tried to eat it!

2nd time in his Johhny Jump Up. A whole lot of leaning and some spinning, but no jumping yet.

It seemed that Abraham felt adding toys was an improvement.

We went to the Cooper Young festival and all I took a picture of was my first "Pronto Pup". It is a favorite treat of one of my favorite native Memphians, Shannon Murray.

20 weeks old and challenging Mom to get a picture of my face again. I am just SO good at rolling over!

To prepare for his first feedings of cereal, we've been getting him used to his high chair.
This is what he thought of it the first time.
It has been cooling down, so we got out this gift from a GV mom of 6. We call it his "cozy".
