Field Trip with Savannah's class-April 14, 2009

Most of my neighbors that I know well have First Grade children! This neighbor, Cybil, invited me to tag along on a field trip to the Botanical Gardens a few weeks ago. It was very fun and they had a lot of interactive stations set up to help the children learn about planting, pollination, organic gardening, animals and plants.

Here are many of the people I love to work with every day! They are phenomenal people with hearts of compassion and care, amazing intelligence and commitment to kids and a bright future for all of us. I miss their camaraderie and insight already.

Room 5 Baby Shower - December 4, 2009

The wonderful families in my class threw an amazing baby shower for me on my second-to-last official day of school at Green Valley!

Heather and many others brought food and gifts as well as lots of laughs and good wishes for our family. Here I am recounting a story with the Moms as the kids are doing a project with Mrs. Ninekirk.

Our class made us the greatest touch and feel book with descriptions of each material and animal on the facing page. It is ADORABLE and Bacon is going to love it!

My 1st Kindergarten Class @ GV Graduates - June '08

These students were in my first K class @GV and are now "Graduating" from GV after completing their 5th grade year.

It's funny b/c they've changed so much, but are also so much the same!
